24 MALONE: Yeah, buddy. How are you?
25 BRISTOL: Oh, not too bad.
26 MALONE: Yeah, I was just calling because
27 they, they called me this morning
28 and told me that they were gonna
Page 2
01 contact you to set up a meeting for
02 Friday.
03 BRISTOL: Oh really? I haven't gotten any
04 messages. So maybe they're calling
05 later in the afternoon or tomorrow,
06 I guess huh, maybe?
07 MALONE: Yeah.
08 BRISTOL: Did they tell you when they were
09 gonna call?
10 MALONE: Yeah, no, they didn't. I, I was
11 under the impression that they were,
12 they had already called. So they
13 were, they were just gonna, they
14 were tellin' me they were gonna try
15 and set something up for Friday.
16 BRISTOL: Oh, they have not called yet, so.
17 MALONE: With you and a lieutenant.
18 BRISTOL: Oh, okay. I, I absolutely know
19 nothing about it.
20 MALONE: Okay. Alright.
21 BRISTOL: I guess I'll wait for their calls.
22 You gave them my right number?
23 MALONE: Oh yeah, yeah.
24 BRISTOL: 'Cause you've got, you've got a
25 couple number in there. The first
26 time we talked, I called from the
27 oth-, other office so that we could
28 be uh, a little private. And you
Page 3
01 took my new number after that, and
02 the night at the uh, restaurant,
03 and…
04 MALONE: Yeah. That was the number I thought
05 you wanted me to call.
06 BRISTOL: No. Two four five one is the one I
07 gave you. That's my, one I'm on now.
08 That's my desk phone. That two four
09 four one goes into a different
10 office.
11 MALONE: Okay.
12 BRISTOL: So I sort of hear about those
13 through the back door.
14 MALONE: Alright, let me, you got a pen on
15 you? Let me borrow your phone real
16 quick. Okay, what's the number?
17 BRISTOL: Six one nine, five three one, it's
18 two four five one. That goes to my
19 desk.
20 MALONE: Two four five one.
21 BRISTOL: Yeah.
22 MALONE: Alright. Oh, shoot, hold on. Six,
23 six one nine, what was it? Five two
24 one?
25 BRISTOL: Five three one.
26 MALONE: Five three one. Go ahead.

01 MALONE: Okay. I've got it. I'll plug it into
02 mine right now.
03 BRISTOL: Yeah. That other one goes to a
04 sergeant, so I sort of hear about,
05 wonderin' who Lance is, and that's
06 how I get all of these messages. So
07 (laughs), I don't really want us
08 callin' his office.
09 MALONE: Okay, well, I'll uh, I'll, what I'll
10 do is I'll just uh, uh, throw that
11 number away.
12 BRISTOL: Yeah, get rid of that other one.
13 Just go with two four five one. That
14 one's mine. Nobody else can go into
15 it.
16 MALONE: Yeah, in fact, I'll, I will call uh,
17 those guys and give 'em this new
18 number.
19 BRISTOL: Okay, yeah. And, and I'm sittin'
20 here waitin'. I'm in the office
21 doin' odd stuff in and out, so.
22 MALONE: Okay.
23 BRISTOL: If they call, I should get it right
24 away. But I have not heard from
25 either one of them.
26 MALONE: (UI).
27 BRISTOL: Who's callin'?
28 -
Page 5
01 MALONE: Uh, it, it should be a guy named, by
02 uh, by the name of Anthony or uh,
03 Councilman Zucchet. Anthony is his
04 policies and procedures per-, in
05 public safety.
06 BRISTOL: Right.
07 MALONE: That's his guy.
08 BRISTOL: I think I've spoken to him before. I

10 MALONE: Okay. No, I think you spoke to Pat.
11 Uh, I don't know who you spoke to.
12 Maybe you did speak to Anthony.
13 BRISTOL: Uh, I can't remember. When we were
14 dealin' with the original emails,
15 so.
16 MALONE: Okay. Well…
17 BRISTOL: Alright.
18 MALONE: I'll give him this number then.
19 BRISTOL: Alright. I'll uh, wait for their
